bioware
While Bioware is a newer company than most of the ones in the museum, their significance is without question. They have single-handedly brought the CRPG genre into the 21st century. Perhaps the key to their success is staying true to the Dungeons & Dragons rule set. Although their games are still much more action-oriented than, say, the SSI Gold Box series, they are the closest things to those true classics which can still be found in the present age.
