The Shadow of Yserbius was originally made available in 1991 as a multiplayer-only game on The Sierra Network. This box release includes a single player version as well. After The Sierra Network (renamed ImagiNation Network) was shut down in 1996, the multiplayer version of Yserbius was no longer available. An enhanced version of the multiplayer Shadow of Yserbius has been active since 2019 at https://www.medievalands.com. This is modern remake of the original game.
