It seems the Limited Edition was costing them too much money to produce, so in a brilliant flash of marketing wizardry, they created the Special Edition. It is essentially identical to the Limited Edition except that it has cheap photocopied manuals, smaller paper maps, and no pretty holograms on the CDs. Lame.
